I am a girl who is self-conscious. I am a girl who loves to help others. I am a girl who tends to say the wrong things at the wrong times. Over the years I've realized that it's okay to be a little bent here and there, and that it's not something I can help.

I play the piano and the guitar. I sing a little--not the greatest, but not the worst. I love to write and I love to read. I love to snuggle under a blanket near a fireplace (even though a fireplace in my home is nonexistent) but I also love to ride bikes and hike. Music is my home, even though I tend to run away and come back crying like a little teenage girl that I am when times are tough.

Writing is my passion. I love to write poetry, short stories, etc. When my lips can't seem to form the right words I want to say, I let my fingers do the talking. It gives others the opportunity to take a peek into my mind--and lets them see the world through my eyes. I created this blog so that I can write what I find is important.
